Uslo Privacy Policy

The short version
Uslo is built so that your family's medical records and bills stay on your own devices and in your own iCloud account. Personify Labs, Inc. does not operate servers that store, see, or process your data. There is no account to create with us, no login, and nothing to breach on our end because there's nothing sitting on our end to breach.
What data Uslo handles, and where it lives
- Records you create (bills, provider info, notes, voice journal entries): stored locally on your device and synced only through your own iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit, if you choose to share access with a co-parent. Personify Labs, Inc. never receives, stores, or has access to this data.
- Photos you scan (bills, documents): processed on-device to extract text. Images and extracted data stay local and in your own iCloud account.
- Voice journal entries: transcribed entirely on-device using Apple's on-device speech recognition (SpeechAnalyzer, iOS 26+). Audio is never sent to a server, ours or Apple's, for this feature.
- Family sharing: if you use Apple Family Sharing to extend your purchase to family members, that purchase relationship is managed entirely by Apple. If you share records with a co-parent via CloudKit, that data flows directly between your iCloud accounts, not through us.
What we don't do
- We don't operate a backend server that stores your family's records.
- We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, because we don't have access to it to share in the first place.
- We don't require account creation, email sign-up, or a password.
- We don't use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Children's information
Uslo is designed for use by parents and guardians to manage records about their dependents. It is not directed at children, and children are not expected to use the app directly or interact with us. Information about your children that you choose to store stays local to your device and your own iCloud account under the same terms as any other record in the app.
Your control over your data
- Deleting the app removes the local copy of your data from that device.
- Data synced via your own iCloud account is governed by your Apple Account and iCloud settings, you can manage or delete it through Apple's iCloud data management tools independent of Uslo.
- Because we never receive a copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our end when you ask, there's simply nothing there.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, note what changed here. This is the first published version, so there's nothing to report yet.
